Marlin

Terms of Service

Last updated 1 July 2026

These terms cover your use of Marlin. By sending a brief or using the site, you agree to them. Marlin is early, so please read the guarantee, pricing, and beta terms below.

What Marlin is

Marlin is a talent-access platform operated by Sonder. Brands send a paid brief to a chosen shortlist of talent, and each talent (or their manager) is guaranteed to give a genuine response. We facilitate that connection; we are not a party to any agreement you reach with a talent.

The response guarantee

  • A “response” means a genuine reply from the talent or their manager: an acceptance, a decline with a reason, or a counter, verified by Marlin. It does not mean simply opening the brief.
  • Every brief guarantees a genuine response from each talent briefed within the stated 48-hour window.
  • If you do not receive a genuine response within the window, you are refunded (or credited) the $299 fee for that talent. The guarantee covers the response, not any particular outcome, booking, or deal.

Pricing and beta

Pricing is normally $299 AUD per talent briefed, per brief. Talent are paid $150 for each genuine response, a 50/50 split of the fee. Marlin is free during launch: no card is charged and no payout is made until live payments begin. We’ll make that switch clear before it applies to you.

Acceptable use

Use Marlin in good faith. Don’t send spam, abusive, misleading, or unlawful briefs; don’t attempt to disrupt or abuse the service or its rate limits; and don’t misuse the contact details of talent or their managers. We may decline or remove briefs and accounts that break these terms.

Talent listings and intellectual property

Our roster is compiled from publicly available information. Talent and their representatives can request changes or removal at any time by emailing tim@sondersites.com. The Marlin name, brand, and site are our property; don’t copy or reuse them without permission.

No warranties, and our liability

Marlin is provided on an “as is” basis during beta. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant brief (nil while billing is simulated). Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Marlin evolves; we’ll update the date above when we do. Questions? Email tim@sondersites.com.
