Marlin is a talent-access platform operated by Sonder. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. In short: we only use what we need to deliver your brief, we keep it secure, and we never sell your data.
Who we are
Marlin is operated by Sonder. You can reach us any time at tim@sondersites.com. For any privacy question or request, email us there.
What we collect
- Brief details. When you send a brief, we collect your name, email, the talent you select, and the brief you write (including anything you dictate or upload).
- Agency waitlist. If you join the agency waitlist, we collect your email and (optionally) your agency name.
- Talent listings. Our roster is built from publicly available information about talent and their representation. Talent or their managers can request a change or removal at any time (see below).
- Usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand traffic. It does not identify you personally.
How we use it
We use your information to deliver your brief to the talent you choose, to respond to you, to operate and improve the service, and to contact you about your brief or waitlist request. That’s it.
Who we share it with
- The talent you brief (or their manager), so they can respond to you.
- Trusted service providers who help us run Marlin, namely Resend (to send email) and Vercel (hosting, secure storage, and analytics). They process data on our behalf.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
How we store and protect it
Your data is stored securely with our hosting provider in access-controlled, private storage. We keep it only as long as we need it to run the service or as required by law. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Email tim@sondersites.com and we’ll take care of it.
Talent listings and takedowns
If you are a talent or a representative and want your listing changed or removed, email tim@sondersites.com. We honour removal requests, and our crawler will not re-add a listing that has been hidden.
Cookies
Marlin uses minimal, essential functionality only and cookieless analytics. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Marlin grows. We’ll change the “last updated” date above when we do.
